My name is Ohata, representative of Sanuma Transportation.

Our company specializes in “local transportation” – bus business, care cab business, and driving service business – to support tourism in the Tohoku region and the lives of people in Miyagi and Tome, and to develop together with the local community. We would appreciate it if you would read to the end to understand our company’s philosophy.

There was a time when I was young and spent a lot of money on my car.

My father and I, who worked for a local trucking company, thought we could do something for the community, and we founded the company together, which will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Thanks to your support, the number of colleagues in the company has exceeded 40. I am truly grateful that I am still able to continue this work with my colleagues who love driving and cars.

History

May 2001	Established Sanuma Transportation Co., Ltd. in Sanuma, Sasama-cho, Tome City and started transportation business (general chartered passenger automobile transportation business).
October 2004	Relocated the head office of Sanuma Kotsu Ltd. to 9-5, Aza Hagiai 2-chome, Sanuma, Sasama-cho, Tome-shi, Tome.
February 2005	Began operations as Sanuma Kotsu Driver’s Liaison Division, a limited liability company, in the Japan car driving agency business.
May 2008	Due to business expansion, the company organization is changed to Sanuma Kotsu Co.
June 2009	Opened Sanuma Kotsu Sendai Airport Sales Office in Shimonogo, Iwanuma City.
August, 2017	Started operation of general passenger automobile transportation business (nursing care welfare cab) and Smile Nursing Care Taxi as a nursing care division of Sanuma Kotsu Co.
